DFA announces extended passport application schedule for those affected by weather
An August 9, 2012 press release from the Department of Foreign Affairs
The Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) announces its extended schedule for passport applicants who were unable to file their applications last August 7 (Tuesday) and 8 (Wednesday), and those scheduled on August 9 (today) and on August 10 (Friday) due to the inclement weather and resulting flood situation. Those scheduled on the above-mentioned dates may come to the DFA-OCA at anytime and have their passport applications processed until Friday next week, August 17.
Passport applicants are advised to bring their appointment slips with them.
